I was caught off guard by how I felt when my son got his braces off. It felt just like when he lost his first tooth. One minute he had his braces on looking like a young teen and then the next the braces are gone and he looks ready for a learner’s permit and has twenty bottles of cologne on his bathroom counter.

However, back to young teenager when he tore into the pack of gummies Dr Carly gave him 🤦🏻‍♀️

Also, had to snap a quick pic while walking out of the tiny “67” someone drew in the sprayed snow on the office’s window.

Christmas cookies and a Bears win over the Packers means Christmas magic is in the air!!

Just a reminder that our office will be closed Wednesday, Dec 24th and reopen Tuesday Dec 30th for our staff to make memories with their families. And to watch football. And eat more Christmas cookies :)

** OUR WWS SCHOOL SUPPLY HUB NEEDS US**
I was heading to Aldi to pick up a couple bags of their pub pretzels (iykyk) and I came across the second “Stuff the Bus” event of the year run by the outside at Office Depot. Any excuse for me to roam the school supply aisles sounds good to me!

This supply drive helps to stock the Shamrock Supply hub with items to meet the needs of teachers and students in our district who need a little help. The list is simple and full of easy items to grab when out shopping with your kids for their supplies. I’d like also to mention the event lasted for SIX hours where temps hovered in the 90’s and was partially mannned by student volunteers. The students volunteering were energetic and doing their absolute best to catch attention. It was truly a bright moment of community goodwill that I wanted you all to know about.

All the teachers at WIS were lined up waving out the buses today for the last day of school. I wish this photo had sound. It was so joyful. Buses were honking, kids waving out the windows, some teachers were dancing.
