✨Transformation Time!✨
Another episode of the ART of orthodontics! 🎨👨🎨
Alex held onto the “I’ve never had braces!” status for her whole life, because her teeth were straight. Over time, she realized there were things she didn’t love about her smile, despite her straight teeth…but there’s so much more to a beautiful smile than straight teeth — Here’s her smile journey summary:
🔹Flat smile arc, with unproportional tooth sizes
🔹”Gummy smile” more so in the back — back teeth were lower in her smile than her front teeth
🔹Narrow arch wide contributing to a narrow smile
Treatment completed with clear aligners!
✅ Creation of an ideal “Smile arc” by intruding the back teeth and bringing down the front teeth so the curvature follows the natural curve of the lower lip
✅ Enamel contouring and gingival contouring to idealize proportions of the white and pink tissues
✅ Broaden arches to widen the smile
