A smile like this is about so much more than teeth—it’s about restoring confidence.
This patient experienced trauma to her two front teeth as a child. Years later, one of those teeth developed a fracture beneath an existing childhood crown, leaving it no longer restorable.
Together, we developed a comprehensive treatment plan. Dr. Webb, our periodontist, carefully extracted the tooth, completed bone and gum grafting to preserve the site, and later placed the dental implant. Dr. Vigneault then restored the implant with a custom crown and replaced the aging crown on the adjacent front tooth, creating a seamless, natural-looking smile.
The result is functional, esthetic, and built to last—but the best part was seeing how thrilled our patient was with her new smile.
Cases like this highlight the value of thoughtful planning and collaboration in restoring smiles affected by childhood dental trauma. It’s incredibly rewarding to help patients move beyond an injury they’ve lived with for years and give them a smile they can feel confident sharing.
