Happy Dental Hygiene Month! 🦷🤍

This month, we’re celebrating the hygienists who do so much more than clean teeth. They educate, encourage, listen, care for their patients, and play such an important role in helping people feel confident about their oral health.

We’re so grateful for the heart, patience, and care our hygiene team brings to our office every day. We truly couldn’t do what we do without them. 🤍

We realized there’s someone we’ve never properly introduced here on social media! 👋🏼

If you’ve been to DeMille MacKay Dental over the past year and a half, there’s a good chance you’ve already met Dr. Nick Grondel. He’s been an important part of our team, and we thought it was finally time to introduce him to those of you who may not know him yet!

So, meet Dr. Grondel! 🦷

Originally from Henderson, Nevada, Dr. Grondel first came to Utah to attend Brigham Young University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics. He then continued his education at the University of Utah, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Dr. Grondel was drawn to dentistry because of the unique combination of art, science, and patient care. He is passionate about building connections with his patients, helping them feel comfortable in the dental chair, making sure they understand their treatment options, and continually growing his knowledge and skills to provide high quality care.

When he’s not at the office, you can usually find Dr. Grondel whitewater rafting, skiing, hiking, spending time with family and friends, cheering on the Utah Jazz or BYU football, or sitting down to enjoy a good film. 🏔️🏀🎬

We’re so happy to have Dr. Grondel as part of the DeMille MacKay Dental team, and now you know a little more about the doctor you may have already seen around the office! ❤️

Today, we had the privilege of delivering all the food our incredible patients donated to our local food bank. What started as a September special became something so much more meaningful as our dental family came together to support and give back to our community.

Every bag, every can, and every donation matters. Because of our patients, families in our community will have a little more support when they need it most. ❤️
