Meet Dr. Kyle Shiffler!
We are overdue for an introduction of the newest doctor we added to our team.
Dr. Kyle Shiffler is an accomplished oral and maxilofacial surgeon, dedicated to providing exceptional care to his patients. With a strong, educational background and extensive training, he brings a wealth of expertise to his practice.
Dr. Shiffler originally from Portland, Oregon, developed a passion for healthcare early on. He began working for a community surgeon when he was 15 years old, who inspired him to pursue the field. He earned his undergraduate degree in neuroscience from Brigham Young University where he fell in love with everything Utah has to offer.
He then attended dental school at UCLA school of dentistry, where he obtained his doctorate of dental surgery. Recognizing the importance of comprehensive patient care Dr. Shiffler continued his education at the Keck school of medicine of USC, where he completed medical school and was awarded his doctor of medicine. This dual training equipped him with a deeper understanding of the medical complexities, often associated with oral and Maxilofacial conditions.
To further enhance his surgical skills, Dr. Shiffler completed a general surgery internship at the Keck medical Center of USC. This invaluable experience allowed him to refine his surgical techniques and develop a comprehensive approach to patient care.
Dr Shiffler- completed his six-year, oral and max facial surgery training at the Los Angeles county plus USC Medical Center. During his residency, he gained extensive experience in a wide range of procedures, including wisdom, teeth, extractions, administration of anesthesia and sedation, implant dentistry, bone, grafting, corrective jaw, surgery, treatment and management of temporal mandibular, joint disorders, cranial, facial and cleft surgery, facial trauma, facial reconstruction, and the treatment of oral pathologies.
While Dr Shiffler- is dedicated to his profession, he also values the importance of family and personal time.
