UPDATE: After a long discussion with a Delta representative a few minutes ago, we have agreed to give Delta Dental another chance. The representative assured us that the issues we have been experiencing will be addressed immediately.
We apologize for any stress or concern this may have caused our patients.
We will always aggressively advocate for our patients. We refuse to compromise on ethics. The foundation of this practice is based on ethics, compassion, and conservative evidence-based care.

Due to increasingly unacceptable reimbursement practices, beginning in one to two months, our office will no longer be a "preferred provider" for Delta Dental. We are still happy to accept and submit private insurance, including Delta. We just may be considered "out of network". We are sorry for any issues this may cause.

I've read the JAMA article and several editorials discussing the concerns raised regarding fluoridated water. At this time I agree with the ADA that the study published in JAMA is too flawed to be considered reliable. When looking at peer-reviewed research that has stood up to scrutiny, fluoride use is considered safe and effective at the current levels found in our water.
I'm looking forward to the new studies that should be seen going forward that improve on some of the studies that were flawed.
