New to Revere Dental? We’re here to make your first visit feel welcoming, comfortable, and stress-free from the moment you walk through the door. 🦷💙

Here’s what you can expect: arrive about 15–20 minutes early to complete your paperwork and medical history, or bring your forms with you if you filled them out ahead of time. Your visit may include updated X-rays, followed by a comprehensive evaluation of your teeth, gums, bite, and smile, along with an oral cancer and head-and-neck screening. Our team will then review your results, answer your questions, and discuss a personalized treatment plan with you. Whenever possible, we’ll also coordinate your first cleaning with your new-patient exam.

🤨 How do I know if I need a root canal or a filling?

🦷💙 A filling is usually used when decay is limited to the outer layers of the tooth. A root canal may be needed when decay, damage, or infection reaches the soft tissue inside the tooth. Warning signs can include severe pain when biting, lingering sensitivity to hot or cold, swollen or tender gums, or a pimple near the tooth. Because symptoms can overlap, a dental exam and X-rays are the best way to determine the right treatment.
