Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include: - Answering phones – Scheduling new and existing patients - Presenting treatment options - Making firm financial arrangements for payment - Submitting insurance claims and following up on claims to collect payment - Sending billing statements and managing accounts receivable - Collecting patient balances at each visit - Calling on insurance coverage - Helping out with various other jobs and responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who: - Understands dentistry (dental experience and knowledge of dental insurance STRONGLY preferred) - Is committed, reliable, dependable and wants to settle in to a long term career position - Is always professional, and genuinely interested in taking care of the needs of our patients - Is extremely organized and very attentive to details - Is a “people person” with an outgoing personality, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills - Is confident and comfortable discussing finances & presenting patients with treatment plans - Is a quick learner, takes instruction well and has a good mind for solving problems - Is comfortable with computers, and is able to learn new software programs quickly (Dentrix experience is a plus).
