Thank you so much, Humane Society of Madison County, for this wonderful recognition! 🐾💙 It was such a joy to bring Oliver and his handler, Ariana, by for a visit. We always love donating and volunteering to the cause for homeless animals!

Oliver has a very special job at Prairie Kids Dental—helping our young patients feel safe, comfortable, and confident during their dental visits while sometimes showing off his tricks for our child patients!.

Thank you for all you do for our community! 🐶🦷❤️

Since we are all about dogs, the Humane Society of Madison County wanted to recognize a local dentist who not only made a generous donation but also uses a cuddly canine to put her patients at ease.

Dr. Kimberly Gill, with Prairie Kids Dental in West Jefferson, helps her young patients by having Oliver in the office. Oliver, an award-winning certified dental therapy dog, will sit next to children during their appointment to help keep them calm. Parents can request his service at no extra charge.

Prairie Kids Dental provides comprehensive, advanced pediatric dental care for infants, toddlers, tweens, and teens in a caring and welcoming environment. They are located at 151 E. Main St. in West Jefferson.

We were fortunate to have Dr. Gill, Oliver, and his handler Ariana stop by the shelter for a quick visit. Thanks to Dr. Gill for helping homeless animals and for using a therapy dog to help local children!

She loves working with children because every day is fun, energetic, and full of smiles—and her goal is always to help little ones feel happy and comfortable at every visit, creating positive dental experiences that last a lifetime.

She’s a proud member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), American Dental Association (ADA), Columbus Dental Society, and Ohio Dental Association (ODA).

Originally from Buffalo, NY, Dr. Courtney now calls Ohio home with her fiancée, four cats, and two wiener dog mixes 🐾 When she’s not in the office, you can find her trying new restaurants, cheering on the Buffalo Bills, or curled up with a good mystery book.
