After the military, he worked as an engineer in the nuclear power industry before pursuing a career in dentistry. Dr. Amato graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry and holds a Fellowship and Mastership with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) as well as a Surgical Fellowship with the Misch International Implant Institute. The High Country has been his
home since 2004. When he is not caring for his patients, he enjoys spending time with his family. He has a lovely wife of 39 years, Gena, three children, Madeline, Lillian, and Abigail, and a son-in-law, Will. Lindsay Lyall, PA-C, our new Aesthetics Provider
Lindsay Lyall is a certified Physician Assistant and native of Ashe County. She received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies from East Carolina University and has worked primarily in Family Medicine, although she has also been providing aesthetic services for years. She believes in providing natural, beautiful results to bring confidence and joy to her patients. When Lindsay is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters, traveling, or just spending time at home in the mountains.
