What a difference at just one month! 🦷

This patient underwent a gum grafting procedure to treat areas of gum recession and exposed tooth roots. The goal was to provide root coverage while creating a wider, stronger band of protective gum tissue around the teeth.

We are already seeing excellent root coverage and tissue around the teeth —and healing will continue over the next six months!

This procedure commonly has historically been associated with discomfort from tissue needed for the graft. We are happy to now offer PRF and stents to aid with healing of the palate and decrease post-operative discomfort!

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Alexander Padalino, DDS, MS, to Raymond Bonomo Periodontics! 🦷

Dr. Padalino is a Board-Certified Periodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He earned his dental degree from Marquette University and completed his Periodontics Residency through the United States Air Force, where he also earned a master’s degree in Oral Biology.

He currently serves as a full-time faculty member in the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base AEGD-1 Program and as courtesy faculty in Marquette University’s Department of Periodontics. Dr. Padalino is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care and helping patients achieve lasting oral health.

Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, gardening, cooking, reading—and growing ingredients for homemade pizza! 🍕

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Padalino to the practice and look forward to introducing him to our wonderful patients!
