Tonight I presented the Alfred P. Josephsen Award, named in honor of my grandfather, who started the boys basketball recreation program in Caldwell-West Caldwell over 60 years ago. The young man who earned this award showed exceptional sportsmanship, leadership, athleticism, and dedication throughout the season. It’s great to see these kids learning the game and the lessons that come with it, and an honor to continue my grandfather’s legacy in the program most local kids learn the game through 🏀
