Why do we take your blood pressure at LakeView Family Dental West Bloomfield?
It’s not random — it’s part of taking great care of you! 💙

1️⃣ Safety first: The local anesthetics (numbing agents) we use often contain a small amount of epinephrine, which can temporarily raise heart rate and blood pressure. Checking your vitals helps us keep your visit as safe and comfortable as possible.

2️⃣ Whole-body health: Many people see their dentist more regularly than their physician. That means our team can sometimes help spot signs of high blood pressure early. It’s one more way your oral health is connected to your overall health!
