Quick one, and it's the thing we most wish everybody knew:

Healthy gums do not bleed when you brush.

A lot of people see a little pink in the sink and file it under normal. Usually it isn't - it's inflammation, and it's the early stage of gum disease.

The good news is that the early stage is the easy stage. A cleaning, some coaching on technique, and a check back in a few months is often the whole plan. Left alone for years is when it starts costing bone and teeth, and that is a much bigger conversation.

If you've been seeing pink and shrugging it off, come let us look. It's a short answer either way.
