DENTAL TIP: Know Your Options

When you’re presented with a treatment plan, don’t be afraid to ask questions.

Sometimes there is more than one way to address a dental problem. Depending on your individual situation, options may include a filling, crown, implant, bridge, denture, or extraction - and each option comes with different benefits, limitations, costs, and long-term considerations.

Before moving forward, ask:

• What are the benefits and risks of each option?
• What happens if I wait or choose not to treat it?
• How long should each option last?
• What will the long-term maintenance look like?
• What is the total cost of each option?

At Dental Care Associates, we keep models and real examples of different treatment options in our office.
