☀️⚾🌊 Summer means sunshine, sports, lake days, backyard parties… and unfortunately, more head, neck, and facial injuries too.

Baseballs, bikes, water sports, ATVs, slips at the pool, and yes… sometimes adult beverages + sunshine don’t make the best teammates 😅

A few summer reminders:
🧊 Ice early for swelling
🦷 If a tooth gets knocked out, keep it moist and seek help immediately
🚨 Head, neck, or facial injuries should never be ignored
⚠️ When in doubt, get evaluated sooner rather than later

The good news? Many facial and dental injuries have better outcomes when treated quickly.

Enjoy summer. Wear the helmet. Keep the mouthguard in. Stay hydrated. Maybe have that extra water between adult beverages 😉🍻

Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

The United States Army was officially established on June 14, 1775, by the Second Continental Congress — historians estimate that approximately 1.19 million U.S. service members have died while serving the country from the Revolutionary War through modern conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Today we’re celebrating Tracy — the one who bops around the office, helping anywhere it is needed, keeping the chaos under control around here. 🎉🦷

From setting up trays before most people have had coffee ☕ to helping patients feel calm and cared for, Tracy does it all with heart, humor, and skill.

This right here is officially the only acceptable reason we’ll allow for not liking the dentist….

The dentists referring to us:
“Here’s a deeply impacted wisdom tooth sitting on a nerve.”

“We got this….also 👉🏼👈🏼” 🦞

Shoutout to the referring dentists keeping us busy with the surgical adventures:
the sideways wisdom teeth, the fractured roots, the implants, and the “can you see them ASAP?” calls. It will always be a yes!!

We fully support our referring dentists…
even if they’ve apparently never once included lobster with the bibs 😂🦞…but if any referring office does start offering lobster with the bibs, let us know immediately!! 🍴

Nothing brightens up a busy surgical day faster than a surprise box of donuts from thoughtful patients who go out of their way to make our team feel appreciated.

Between surgical cases, phone calls, implants, extractions, and insurance battles, little acts of kindness like this mean more than our patients probably realize.

And trust us — this crew runs on compassion, caffeine, and apparently sprinkles. 🍩😅

We really do have the sweetest patients around — literally. 🤍

Doctor’s orders: ice cream after extractions 🍦🦷

It’s not just an excuse to enjoy dessert — cold, soft foods actually help support healing after oral surgery. The cold temperature helps constrict blood vessels, which can reduce swelling and discomfort, while the soft texture protects the blood clot that’s essential for proper healing.

Recovery doesn’t have to be miserable — sometimes a little ice cream is actually part of the treatment plan. 🍨

Especially the moms who manage everyone’s oral surgery appointments, recovery snacks, medications, and emotional support 😂💐
