Help us welcome Ali Layton, DDS, MS to the First Impressions team! She will be joining our team in Appleton in June. 👋😊

Ali is a Midwest native, born and raised in Green Bay, WI. She is excited to be moving back home! She loves the Midwest culture and how friendly, genuine, and dependable everyone is.

Ali became an Orthodontist because she is passionate about helping others achieve confident, healthy smiles. She cherishes the genuine relationships she creates with her patients as they work together to accomplish her patient's goals. Ali honors the significant role she plays in each patient’s smile journey. She loves that each case is unique, as is each patient, and enjoys utilizing the latest technology and techniques to optimize oral health and esthetics for each patient.

In her free time, Ali can be found spending time with family and friends, catching a new workout class, traveling, going for walks, cooking new recipes or cheering on the Green Bay Packers and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. 👩‍🍳

Alex is excited about moving to Wisconsin to embrace the family and community-oriented environment. He chose to become an Orthodontist because he's passionate about helping and connecting to others. He loves creating a fun clinical environment where his patients feel comfortable communicating openly and being themselves.

In his free time, Alex enjoys playing and watching hockey, singing, practicing guitar, and spending time with friends and family. 🏒

First Impressions Families,

It has been my pleasure to serve our community for the past three years as your child’s pediatric dentist. I've had the privilege of meeting and developing lasting relationships with a great number of patients in the Appleton and Oshkosh communities, and I am forever grateful for how openly you've welcomed me into your families. This has been a wonderful place to live and practice.

It is with a heavy heart I share that I will be moving away from the Fox Valley as of June 2026. It has been a difficult decision, but ultimately my husband and I have decided to move closer to family as we start our own. Being able to spend time with your families has been extremely rewarding. I've enjoyed watching your children grow and have loved being a part of their early experiences at the dentist.

I am fully confident your child will enjoy continued care with my fellow partners, and assure you will be in excellent hands with Dr. Mark Shaw and Dr. Reya Das at First Impressions. Please know that all of your medical records are safely on file here and remain confidential through this transition. This incredible team works seamlessly together as each member contributes to the smooth operation of the clinic. They support each other by helping others when needed, and enjoy attending community events together - especially those that foster awareness within the community while raising money for a great cause.
