I am honored and pleased to announce to all of you we have sold our practice to Dr. Joe Gillespie of Alpha Dental Associates. Dr. Gillespie is a leader in mini dental implants, a lecturer and promoter of minis, and one of my key mentors in this field for many years. I am delighted to have a such distinguished colleague join our practice.
This is a big turning point for me personally. I am no longer the owner of our Waupaca Smiles practice.
As many of you know, I have been practicing in Waupaca for 42 years. That’s a long time to be in one location for such a long time. Especially when we see people moving and changing locations and careers in today’s transitionional world.
Over the last few years, in addition to to caring for our treasured dental family, we have added a unique mini dental implant component which has dramatically benefited and changed the lives of many of our patients.
I am very pleased to say to all of you, the care, skill and treatment of all our patients who have been accustomed to in the past, will be in very good hands as we go forward!
I invite all of you to welcome our new doctor, Dr. Lisa Piontek to our community and our practice!
Her years of experience in general dentistry as well as implant dentistry will be a wonderful addition to our team of dental professionals. I expect her to continue our legacy of excellence in our commitment to our patient care.
I also wish to continue my role as as your mini dental implant dentist until I finally decide to retire. Dr. Gillespie has graciously offered me to stay on as long as I wish until I choose to fully retire. I do not know exactly when that day will be, however I do know I intend to be an integral part of this transition process going forward.
Dr. Gillespie has assured me he will continue our established tradition of excellence in dental
care for our patients and our community going forward. He also will continue to promote and support the full range of mini dental implant related services for our existing and new patients.
I am also pleased to announce my incredible and talented staff is excited and ready to assist Dr. Piontek. They will be a great asset for the new management team during this transition process.
Lastly, it has been a privilege and honor for me to have been your dentist these past 42 years. I wish to express many thanks and gratitude to all of our wonderful patients who have supported us with their trust and confidence over the course of my career. I have developed a special relationship with many of you. You are family! I also want to thank the staff members I have had the privilege to work with during our journey. Your encouragement and support has been of immeasurable value to me and our patients. Thank you!
And finally I’d like to thank Waupaca for welcoming Amy, me and our family to this beautiful community. Amy and I cherish the friendships and support you have so generously given us.
