Not every delivery is a case 🍎

Our President stopped by Dane Dental recently to drop off an apple fritter that we're fairly certain qualifies as a group activity. Based on the reactions, we'd say it landed okay 😂

A good lab relationship isn't just built on turnaround and quality, but by actually knowing the people on the other end of the case. We like the people we work with! Showing up in person, saying thank you, and occasionally bringing something ridiculous with us is part of how we keep those relationships strong.

Ever heard the phrase, “set in stone”?

Our Fixed Model Room is responsible for casting impressions into workable models and dies, and the importance of this stage can't be overstated. Once that model is poured, everything that follows is locked to it. This stage is absolutely critical to how the final product turns out, as any mistakes to the die will lead to mistakes with the crown.

Every department that touches the case afterward is working from what gets built here. If the margin doesn't read cleanly on the die, it won't read cleanly in the design. If the model isn't articulated correctly, the occlusion won't be right no matter how well the crown is made 🔬

That's why our team takes the time to get it right the first time, because a crown can only ever be as accurate as the model it came from 📐

August's top doctors received a gourmet preserves gift box from The Elegant Farmer, a farm shop out in Mukwonago, WI 🫐🍑🍓

Lately, we've been trying to source these gifts from local Wisconsin businesses whenever we can. It feels right to put a little money back into the same community we're a part of, and there's a noticeable difference between a jar of preserves made at a farm an hour down the road and something pulled off a shelf.

It's the same decision our doctors make every time they send us a case. Plenty of practices go with whatever option is fastest or cheapest, but the ones who choose a local lab are also choosing a team they can actually call, a driver they know by name, and a facility they could walk through if they wanted to.
