Did you know the periodontal classification has been enhanced to incorporate more evidence to better diagnose and treat patients?? Dr. Al-Bitar has presented to offices on this new classification and has helped offices better understand how to use the classification to facilitate their patient treatment options. In light of the recent WHO recommendation on prophylactic dental care, as well as their clarification on their statement, we wanted to express that we do not agree with the idea that anyone should delay any type of dental care, whether emergency or elective (as echoed by the AAP and ADA). Periodontal disease and caries (tooth decay) can progress rapidly in the absence of prophylactic care and monitoring. While we routinely exercise Standard Precautions, we have taken additional steps to ensure your safety when visiting us for your dental care. We have also placed Medify Air Purifiers throughout the offices which filter particles up to 0.1microns (smaller than COVID-19 particles). Additionally, our patients have been physically distanced even more at our Waukesha location with the expansion of the office. In the event that you have any symptoms consistent with COVID-19, please contact us ahead of time to reschedule your appointment. Updates In Our Office

Now Introducing Dr. Kinan Al-Bitar to our office! Dr. Al-Bitar joined the office in early June. He is a Marquette Dental graduate and completed his 3 year post graduate residency training at Marquette as well. During his residency he also received his Masters degree researching the connection between periodontal disease and quality of life.

Did you know that we have two locations? In addition to our Waukesha location we also have a location in Mukwonago to serve our colleagues and patients in our more southern areas. The Mukwonago location is found at 400 Bay View Rd (just off the highway!). Hours are Tuesday 8am-5pm and Wednesday 7am-2pm. Schedule your appointment today!
