At TLC Dental Wellness, we use Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) to support the body’s natural healing after dental surgery. We draw a small sample of your own blood the same day as your procedure. We spin it in our in-house centrifuge right here at TLC Dental Wellness. In just a few minutes, that blood separates and we collect the PRF layer which is loaded with fibrin, platelets, and natural growth factors. It helps protect the blood clot, support healthy tissue and bone formation, and reduce postoperative swelling and discomfort. This is biological dentistry in action: using advanced techniques that work in harmony with your body to promote the best possible long-term outcome.

There’s a woman in our home who prays over all of us every single day. That’s my mom, my prayer warrior. 🎂🙏

She moved to America in her mid 60s after we lost my dad, and started a whole new life in a new country at an age most people wouldn’t dare to. Her granddaughters made it a little easier, but it still wasn’t easy. I am so proud of her strength and her faith.

She’s lived with us for years now, and it’s been one of the biggest blessings of our lives. We love you, Mom. Happy birthday! 💛

My heart is crushed.

There are moments in dentistry that no one really prepares you for. We walk alongside people for years, sometimes decades. We celebrate engagements, weddings, babies, and answered prayers. We also witness seasons of illness, loss, and heartbreak.
This week I lost a patient who felt like family. She always asked about my kids. She prayed for me. A few weeks ago I felt this tug to call her, just to hear her voice. I didn’t know why. Now I wish I had listened.

Some patients leave fingerprints on your heart. Today, I’m grieving one of them.My heart is heavy, but I’m also grateful.
I know this isn’t the end. I’ll see her again, and we’ll pick up right where we left off.

Happy 250th Birthday, America 🇺🇸

Two hundred fifty years of freedom. Paid for by people who never met us, but believed we were worth it.

I did not grow up here. I chose this country.
And every single day, I am proud to call it home. The freedom to build , to worship, to raise my family here, I do not take one bit of it for granted.

May God continue to bless this nation, and may we never lose sight of the responsibilities that come with the freedoms we’ve been given.

Sometimes the most important findings are not visible on an X-ray.
In this case, there was no pain. No obvious symptoms. Nothing that would have made the patient think something was wrong.
Yet the pathology report revealed evidence of chronic infection and inflammation that had likely been present for quite some time.
This is one of the reasons I believe in looking deeper.
The mouth doesn’t always send warning signs before a problem develops. Sometimes what we can’t see—or what we don’t feel—can still be adding to the body’s overall inflammatory burden.
Research continues to show important connections between oral health and whole-body health. Chronic infections in the mouth may contribute to fatigue, brain fog, persistent bad breath, headaches, difficulty healing, and other inflammatory challenges in some individuals.
Does every hidden infection cause symptoms? No.
As a wellness-focused dentist, my goal is not simply to treat teeth. It’s to understand what’s happening beneath the surface so patients can make informed decisions about their health.
Because sometimes the thing making the least noise is the thing that deserves the closest attention. 🌿
