Meet Dr. Wiley Purcell! Dr. Purcell is a Georgia native who offers a great deal of versatility at Athens Endodontics seeing as he was an Educator for eight lovely years. He then attended the Dental College of Georgia and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D) in 2016.

Furthering his education, Dr. Purcell attended a 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Augusta, GA. Before entering into his two years of specialty training for Endodontics, he practiced as a general dentist at Christ Community Health in Augusta, GA. During his Endodontic residency, Dr. Purcell was able to complete research that lead to being published in a peer review journal as well as presenting his research for the American Association of Endodontist Annual Meeting. Dr. Purcell is a proud member of the American Association of Endodontics, American Dental Association, as well as the Georgia Dental Association.

We are so glad to have Dr. Purcell on the Athens Endodontics team!
