🇺🇸 Memorial Day Closure Notice 🇺🇸

In observance of Memorial Day, Agape Health Services will be closed on Monday, May 25th. We will resume our regular business hours on Tuesday, May 26th.

As we enjoy time with family and loved ones, we pause to remember the true meaning of Memorial Day — honoring and remembering the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness have protected the freedoms we enjoy today.

✨ Join us for Tai Chi for Arthritis & Fall Prevention at Martin Memorial Library! ✨

We’re excited to share that Agape Health Services will be continuing Tai Chi classes every Monday throughout the end of the year!

We’ll be offering the 16-week Tai Chi for Arthritis & Fall Prevention program back-to-back, creating ongoing opportunities for individuals in our community to participate and improve their health and wellness.
This class is currently in session, and new participants are still encouraged to join!

Don’t worry if you feel like you may have missed too much or are hesitant about jumping in late. New sessions will begin again every 16 weeks, allowing participants to start fresh from the beginning of the program.

Tai Chi for Arthritis & Fall Prevention is an enjoyable, evidence-based program designed to help improve:

✅ Overall confidence with movement

Last week, Agape Health Services was honored to present at the OCHIN conference on “Empowering Team Learning and Interdisciplinary Collaboration: TRIP Time.”

Our team (from left to right, Mariana Rolinski, MPH MPA, Director of Operations & Special Projects, Dr. Wendi Carlton, MD, FAAP, Chief Medical Officer, & Elise Manning, MSN, FNP-BC, Clinical Care Coordinator), shared how TRIP Time (Training, Research, Implementation, and Planning) creates protected time for learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement—strengthening communication, supporting staff development, and enhancing the care we provide to our communities.

Agape was honored to participate in the Aurora Strategic Planning Kick-Off Event alongside so many dedicated community leaders and organizations committed to investing in Aurora’s future.

Our team hosted an informational table with brochures and giveaways & Dr. McDuffie presented on behalf of Agape, sharing who we are, our vision for serving the Aurora community, and exciting updates about the future of healthcare access in the area.

We are excited to continue serving Aurora through our Mobile Health Unit every Thursday from 10AM–3PM, with hopes of expanding services even further in the near future. We also look forward to opening a future clinic location to help bring compassionate, integrated care closer to home.

Thank you to everyone who attended and to the many local leaders and stakeholders working together to inspire growth, strengthen partnerships, and build a healthier future for Aurora. 💚
