Thanks to Dr. Charlie Coulter, Dr. Takeisha Presson, Dr. Jessica Rubin and Kurt Gallagher for testifying today before the DC Council earlier today to express the following positions on legislation under consideration:
• We support creating tiered licensing/registration fees for health professionals as an opportunity to reduce fees.
• We support the creation of a digital platform to enable the submission of certificates of dental health certificates to streamline the process of preparing and submitting the certificates.
• We oppose prohibiting dentists from charging a fee to prepare annual certificates of dental health.
• We support establishing new protections from civil damages for health professionals with respect to vaccinations.
