With two offices in McLean, VA and Washington D.C., Dr. Mohammadi and her team are here to serve your children. Our practice is based on preventive dental care.

Prevention is the key to keeping your children cavity-free and maintaining healthy smiles! Dr. Maryam Mohammadi finished her postdoctoral training in Pediatric Dentistry at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Since then she practiced in Washington, DC and opened her second location in McLean, Virginia in 2003. She had a vision of creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for her patients which is reflected in the design of her offices. Dr. Mohammadi understands the specific needs of children, adolescents and patients with special health needs. Her training and experience enables her to tailor to the specific emotional and health needs of each child. Her well-trained staff members also ensure that your child’s visit is a pleasant one.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Presidents’ Day!

This holiday, originally meant to celebrate the birthday of George Washington, never actually falls on the first President’s birthday!

Also, a dental fun fact about our first president - while many people believe that he had wooden teeth, his dentures were actually likely made of a combination of hippopotamus ivory, brass, and gold!

We hope everyone enjoyed their Monday off!

All of us at Beverly Pediatric Dentistry would like to wish everyone a very happy Groundhog Day!

Whether the groundhog predicts an early spring or six more weeks of winter, we hope everyone stays warm and cozy during this cold and windy week.

Did you know groundhogs have two front teeth that never stop growing? That’s why they constantly gnaw and chew on roots, leaves, straw, and grass to keep those teeth at a manageable size!

Today and every day we celebrate the work and life of Martin Luther King Jr.

Today we celebrate what would’ve been Dr. King’s 94th birthday! Social activist, Dr. King dedicated his life to fighting peacefully for the principles for equality and civil rights for the African-American community and other socially and economically disadvantaged communities until his assassination in 1968.

Today we remind ourselves to hold his words in our hearts:

“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of convenience and comfort, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy,”
- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
