This patient presented to our office and his main concern was regarding his very small lateral incisors, also known as peg laterals, that are located next to his two front teeth.  The current peg laterals had defective bonding on them, as seen in the photos.  With no prep to the natural tooth we were able to address his concerns. We removed the existing bonding and extended the length and width of his teeth. Contouring and polishing of the teeth were done to give him a seamless smile. He was very happy with his new smile!

BLACK TRIANGLE ALERT😳⚠️

This patient presented to our office with the chief concern being the black triangles visible in the lower anterior teeth. After discussing options we chose a beautiful solution that involved minimal prep to the natural tooth. This patient received esthetic bonding to correct the black triangles and is more than happy with the decision!

Is iced coffee bad for your teeth? Whether you like yours hot or iced, all coffee is acidic and can lead to tooth sensitivity and increase the risk of cavities if consumed in excess. It can also stain your teeth over time. Many commercially available iced coffees contain added sugars or sweetened syrups, which can promote tooth decay and gum disease if consumed frequently. But don’t worry - we won’t ask you to take away your iced coffee for good!

To minimize potential negative effects on your teeth while enjoying iced coffee:
- Limit consumption of sugary or sweetened varieties.
- Drink through a straw positioned toward the back of your mouth to reduce contact with teeth.
- Rinse your mouth with water after drinking coffee to help neutralize acidity and reduce staining.
- Maintain good oral hygiene by brushing your teeth at least twice a day and flossing daily.
