For Dr. Powers, it all started with a simple invitation to shadow a dentist. 💛

Dr. Powers originally considered a career in medicine, inspired by her uncle, an orthopedic surgeon.

But after shadowing Dr. Woodside, she realized dentistry offered something uniquely rewarding.

What stood out was the ability to build real, lasting relationships with patients.
The hands-on nature of the work and the immediate impact on people’s lives drew her in.

She knew right away that this was the path for her.

That experience was the turning point. Dr. Powers went home and told her dad, “I’m going to be a dentist.”

Today Dr Klassner & Kylie were able to speak at Community Helper Day at an elementary school! We spoke on taking care of your teeth and how important it is to value your dental health. In total, we were able to speak to 180 kindergarteners and we had a blast!! Thank you to Ms. Hatcher for the invite and setting us up to help the future generation keep their teeth happy and healthy!
