Remembering “Our Fallen Heroes”!
A Circle of Remembrance and a moment of silence were held in honor of those military members who paid the ultimate sacrifice.

We are so honored to sponsor this community event. We strive to honor our military fallen heroes and their families. There is no cost to participate.

Middle Georgia Runners & Walkers - come out and participate in “wear blue: run to remember”. Walk or Run on your own, in honor of our fallen heroes, our fighting service members and their families.

“Our heroes are not forgotten!”

Setting aside a small portion of our morning, we unite as a living memorial for the fallen service members by committing purposeful miles with a self-guided & paced run or walk.

Sign up at:( wearblueruntoremember.org), then comment your assigned hero’s name to Dr. Shirley Fisher on Facebook. A cloth name-badge will be made for your hero. This will become part of a memorial quilt that Dr. Fisher is making.

A Circle of Remembrance will start the event. Each hero’s name will be called out from the cloth name-badge given to each participant. You can run or walk at your own pace and your own distance in the Central Ga Tech College area or at the Houston County High School Track.

Be a part of this community gathering as we show our gratitude and remembrance for the courage, heroism, and sacrifice of the men and women who have given all.
