Dr. Duval is a native of Macon, GA and received his undergraduate degree from Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. He earned a Doctorate of Dental surgery degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. and subsequently earned his orthodontic certification after completing an orthodontic residency at Howard University in Washington DC. In addition to treating patients, Dr. Duval enjoys teaching
orthodontic assisting for the Georgia Orthodontic Assisting School. It has always been intriguing for Dr. Duval to incorporate science in conjunction with the art of orthodontics. Dr. Duval is a strong advocate of continuing education and stays abreast of the latest technology such as Invisalign, Damon and TAD anchorage devices. Dr. Duval is a member of the American Association of Orthodontist, Southern Association of Orthodontist, Georgia Dental Association and Georgia Dental Society. As a strong believer in volunteer work, Dr. Duval is a participant of Help a Child Smile, Greater Traveler's Rest Youth Smiles and several mentoring programs. In his leisure time, Dr. Duval enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing tennis and basketball.
