A water slide accident 20 years ago. A root canal. Two apicoectomies. And now, a front tooth that can no longer be saved.

When a front tooth has to come out, the plan starts before the extraction. We make a temporary tooth ahead of time, so our patient never leaves without a smile.

Matching the color is the easy part. The real work is getting the size, shape, and gum line to look like it was always there.

Behind the process: The clinical importance of the prosthetic try-in.

In full-arch rehabilitations, long-term success relies on more than just osseointegration—it requires precise biomechanical and aesthetic harmony.

During this try-in appointment, we evaluate a custom-milled titanium framework carrying individual zirconia crowns. Utilizing modular zirconia crowns provides significant long-term maintainability: should a fracture occur, individual units can be serviced without compromising or remaking the entire prosthesis.

We meticulously assess frame fit, force distribution via balanced occlusion, and patient-approved aesthetics to guarantee function and satisfaction prior to final delivery.
