Babies aren’t born with the bacteria that cause cavities — they are usually passed through saliva from caregivers. Sharing spoons, tasting food, or cleaning a pacifier with your mouth can transfer cavity-causing bacteria.

You can still kiss, cuddle, and love on those little ones! 🦷 Just limit unnecessary saliva sharing and keep your own smile healthy too.
