How do energy drinks affect your teeth?

Although not all energy drinks contain sugar, they are all highly acidic. In fact, the acidity in most energy drinks is double that of sports drinks. In those conditions, the enamel on our teeth quickly dissolves. Consuming too many energy drinks can lead to rotting teeth. Yikes! Try replacing your daily energy drink with green tea, protein shakes, or smoothies for a healthier mouth and body.

What should you look for in a mouthwash?
Not all mouthwashes are equal. Some focus on fighting decay and disease, and others are cosmetic. Cosmetic ones focus on making your smile brighter, cover bad breath, and have a good taste. If you want to step up your oral hygiene game, look for one that contains fluoride and an anti-bacterial, has the ADA Seal of Acceptance, and is alcohol-free. These are called therapeutic mouthwashes and will help restore your mouth to health.

I had to see a dentist for an urgent matter, and I'm new in town so I didn't have time to Dentist shop. Lucky for me, Ygnacio Dental has been wonderful. I've seen both Dr. Cho and Dr. Lam, both are incredibly kind, take the time to explain and answered all my questions. As someone who isn't fond of going to the dentist, these guys actually take that dread away. However it is the reception, that really makes this place above and beyond. They helped me though understanding insurance and out of pocket estimates, very knowledgable and kind. Communication has been top notch with this office. 5 stars!"
