Myth vs. Reality: Everyone needs their wisdom teeth out.

Not necessarily. But here's what we do recommend: starting at age 15, every patient should come in for a screening. Why? It gives us a chance to examine growth and development, take x-rays, and monitor those wisdom teeth closely. That way, we can make the best decision together about whether removal is right for you, and if so, when and how to do it.

Myth vs. Reality: "Dental implants are extremely painful."

Here's what actually happens in our office. Most patients who get implants placed don't need pain medication at all afterward. Seriously. The ones who do? Typically just over-the-counter Tylenol or ibuprofen handles it beautifully. We very rarely see patients reaching for anything stronger.

The difference comes down to technique, precision, and making sure you're comfortable every step of the way. That's how we do things here.
