WALNUT COVE COMMUNITY SERVICE.
For the last 16 years The Aristotle Institute of the Triad has been providing Dentist and their teams with training on Sedation. There are about 19 courses throughout the year. There are approximately 8,000 dentists in North Carolina, only about 300 general dentists have the permit to administer sedation to their patients for anxiety reduction, pain reduction, and allowing them to tolerate longer procedures. The Aristotle Institute take experienced dentists and their team to complete twenty cases in preparation for obtaining their permits. This year we are doing our clinical training at Walnut Cove Dental Associates, giving priority to patients of the practice, and the first twenty (20) volunteers. As the Lead Instructor with 40 years of practice and 38 years of teaching, a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry, served on 11 Dental Missions, it is my humble privilege to lead this IV Sedation Training for the 14 th year.
