Cherisse Loo, DDS

Cherisse Loo, DDS At our office, my staff and I strive to provide quality and personalized care in a comfortable, state-of-the-art antiseptic environment. Welcome to our family!

My practice philosophy is greatly influenced by the Golden Rule which can be paraphrased as, “Treat others as I would want to be treated.” I listen and strive to meet the individuals’ needs as a person as well as their dental needs. I want my interactions with my clients to be more than just the “business as usual drill and fill” impersonal service I find sadly to be true in many of the practices

I’ve observed or practiced in. I want clients to feel special, respected and sense that we genuinely care about the well-being of their whole person – not just their teeth; That there are names and faces and histories and families behind the smiles/ teeth we treat and come into contact with daily. We hope to establish long lasting relationships with the people who have come to place their trust in us. Everyone deserves to have a beautiful smile and a clean, healthy mouth. Our general and cosmetic family dental office provides a multitude of dental procedures that can help you achieve your goals in a clean, comfortable and caring environment. We are conveniently located in the North County San Diego area of Vista, CA, just off the 78 freeway.

Dentists love a good outlier story, especially when the outlier is one of us. A 99 year old dentist still seeing patients in Japan. A 90 year old in Texas still working five days a week. A 93 year old in Indiana still restoring teeth. A Canadian oral surgeon who lived to 110.

It almost makes it sound like dentistry comes with a secret anti aging warranty.

The stories are real. The inspiration is real. But the lesson is not that dentistry makes you live longer.

The lesson is that purpose matters.

Dentistry keeps you mentally engaged, socially connected, and useful. The dentists who keep practicing into their 80s and 90s usually simplify. They cut back hours, trim the schedule, and focus on the parts of the profession they still enjoy.

In other words, they redesign the back nine.

Dentistry is not a fountain of youth. It still comes with neck pain, insurance drama, staffing headaches, and the patient who wants the cheapest permanent option.

But work that keeps you engaged and connected can age surprisingly well.

Maybe the real question is not whether dentistry helps you live longer.

It is whether you are building a practice you would still want to walk into when you are old enough to have earned the right not to.

What part of dentistry would you keep doing if money no longer mattered? 🦷

Happy Lunar New Year! 2026 Year of the Fire 🔥🐴🐎 🔥 Horse!

The Year of the Fire Horse is a remarkable event in the Chinese zodiac. While the zodiac cycles every 12 years, the Fire Horse year appears just once every 60 years, making it especially rare. This year is celebrated for its dynamic energy, symbolizing passion, change, and transformation. Horses represent strength, freedom, and spirited perseverance, and the element of fire magnifies these qualities, igniting their brilliance to new heights.

Key Facts about the Year of the Fire Horse:
The last Fire Horse year was in 1966. The next is 2026, making it a generational event.
Represents Unstoppable Energy: Fire amplifies the horse’s natural vitality, leading to boldness, ambition, and a drive for progress.

Cultural Significance: In East Asia, Fire Horse years are seen as both auspicious and challenging—bringing transformative opportunities, but also requiring careful guidance and wise leadership.

How can we draw inspiration from the Year of the Fire Horse in our own lives? No matter your journey, this is a time to embrace new challenges, learn, and find courage within yourself. For others, it may be the perfect opportunity to take that first step and get in the saddle for the very first time. Whatever your aspirations, we are here to support you. We’re inspired by the Year of the Fire Horse and look forward to setting bold new goals together. Share your ambitions with us and let’s make this an exciting year of growth and achievement!
