Over the past year, Dr. Swanson has had the privilege of caring for the Ruiz family—and in that time, they’ve truly become part of our family, too. From surprise lunches from Esperanza’s to beautiful baskets of fruit, their kindness has brightened our days more times than we can count.

Even after Mr. Ruiz’s passing, his incredible spirit of generosity lives on through his children. Yesterday, they stopped by—balloons in hand—to surprise Dr. Swanson and wish him a happy birthday! 🎈🎉
