Roxann Jo Mathews

Our dear friend and colleague, Roxann, passed away Wednesday, August 12. Those of you who were fortunate enough to know her, and even more fortunate to have worked alongside her, know that she was truly a pillar of our family and our practice here at Virginia Family Dental.

Rox had a vast knowledge and more than 30 years of experience caring for patients as both a dental assistant and hygienist. She genuinely cared for the people around her and loved serving her family, friends, and the many patients she had the privilege of caring for throughout her career.

Rox was caring, hardworking, loyal, and genuine. She put her heart and soul into everything she did and had a way of making all of us better simply by being part of our team.

We were so incredibly blessed to have Rox as a part of our Virginia Family Dental family, just as so many patients and people throughout her life were blessed to know and be cared for by her.

We will miss you so very much, Rox. Your kindness, dedication, laughter, and the love you gave to those around you will never be forgotten.
