"Do I need a bone graft and does that mean I can't get implants?"

We get this question a lot. Here's the honest answer.

Bone grafting is actually one of the most routine parts of implant dentistry. If you've had a missing tooth for a while, some bone loss is expected. A graft rebuilds that foundation so your implant has something solid to anchor into.

It adds time to the process — typically a few months of healing — but it doesn't disqualify you. In fact, it's often what makes a successful implant possible for patients who were told elsewhere that they "weren't a candidate."

Two days in Orlando with some incredible doctors, and the learning didn't stop for a second!

We dove deep into ridge augmentation techniques, immediate implant placement, and free-hand placement of multiple implants. Suture techniques ranging from compression and double sling to vertical and horizontal slings, horizontal mattress, and beyond. Flap designs, sub-epithelial connective tissue grafts, free gingival grafts — the full spectrum.

And we got hands-on time with the new Lynx implant, which was a standout experience.

All of it took place at the beautiful ADI Center — exactly the kind of environment that pushes you to sharpen your craft and keep raising the standard of care for our patients.
