To Our Valued Patients,



I am thrilled to share exciting news about the future of Handcrafted Smiles at Villa Park, now known as Villa Park Dentistry. In order to focus more on family, I have decided to sell this practice. It has been my great pleasure caring for you and your families these last few years.



With this change in ownership, we are also excited to introduce you to Dr. Sameera Jagirdar, our new lead dentist. I have searched for a colleague that I felt shared the same dedication to care for my patients as I have. She completed her dental education at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Downers Grove. In addition to her dental degree, Dr. Sameera holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and a Master’s in Public Health.



Dr. Sameera's career has been distinguished by her commitment to public health, having served as a public health coordinator for DuPage County, focusing on communities in Downers Grove and Addison where she implemented many health and wellness programs.



Outside of her professional achievements, Dr. Sameera is a wife and a dedicated mother to two beautiful children. One of her passions include coming up with healthy recipes for her kids (which sometimes include hiding veggies in desserts) and watching Disney Movies. Her personal experiences as a parent underscore her holistic approach to patient care, emphasizing the importance of oral health in the broader context of overall wellness.



Dr. Sameera will be assuming the practice under Villa Park Dentistry. While the practice has undergone an ownership change, the unwavering commitment to exceptional care and our core values remains unchanged. Dr. Sameera will be available full-time, ensuring continuity of care and building upon the trusted foundation established by Handcrafted Smiles. She looks forward to meeting each one of you. I urge all of you to come in to meet Dr. Sameera and allow her to continue the high quality of care that we have always tried to give you.
