NEW SERIES INCOMING 🦷🦋✨

As a prosthodontist, I work in the most complex cases in dentistry. My favorite thing about what I do is solving difficult issues and creating solutions for my patients that not only improve the function of their bite and smile, but leave them with the confidence to live their lives to the fullest.

So in this series I’ll be answering some FAQs and sharing cases along the way! First up— what is the best age for dental implants when it comes to young patients who are missing teeth?

Short answer: it depends!! There are multiple solutions depending on the patient, and I work alongside orthodontists and dental surgeons to create the best outcome.

Interdisciplinary planning at it’s best!

Orthodontics created the space + occlusion; a Maryland bridge provided a conservative but esthetic replacement. Excellent orthodontic movement by Dr. Gleason 👏🏼✨

I love offering Maryland bridges, especially with younger patients who have congenitally missing teeth like this one. They’re ideal when implants may not yet be appropriate due to growth or clinical timing.
