Happy 1-Year Anniversary, Tiffany! 💙

Over the past year, Tiffany has been an important part of keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes and helping our days stay on track. Many of our patients have worked with her throughout their visits, and she’s been a consistent part of their experience here at Blue Lake.

Tiffany, thank you for all the effort you put in each day and for being part of our team. We’re grateful to have you and look forward to what’s ahead!

Orthognathic (jaw) surgery cases are some of the most rewarding transformations we get to be a part of 💙

This case was a true team effort between orthodontics and oral surgery. Our patient came to us hoping to improve his deep bite, reduce excessive overjet (distance between top and bottom teeth), and create better alignment and function overall.

What we did:
We started with braces on the upper and lower teeth for about 10 months to level and align everything in preparation for surgery. In collaboration with the incredibly talented Dr. Squier, surgery included:
• Clockwise rotation of the upper jaw to improve the occlusal plane and smile arc
• Lower jaw advancement to correct the bite and reduce overjet
• Genioplasty to improve overall facial balance

After surgery, we completed another ~10 months of orthodontics with braces and elastics to refine the bite, detail tooth positioning, and finalize the result.

The finish:
Braces were removed, and we placed fixed retainers along with clear removable retainers that are worn at night for long-term stability.

In just ~20 months, we were able to achieve a functional, balanced bite and a result that will benefit this patient for years to come.

Surgical orthodontics can truly be life-changing—not just aesthetically, but functionally. Grateful for the collaboration and so excited for this outcome ✨

Our witty, sweet, and all-around awesome guy just wrapped up treatment like a total champ—and now it’s time for the real reward… popcorn, sticky candy, and all the “braces said no” snacks 🍿😂

From soccer star ⚽ to professional joke-maker to pet-loving pro, Brody kept us smiling every single visit. We’re so proud of him and all the hard work he put in!

We’ll definitely miss seeing his smile (and hearing those jokes!) around the office, but we’re so excited for him to enjoy this well-deserved break 😄💙

Some patients just make every step of the journey extra special—and Morgan is one of them 🤍✨

She completed her treatment ahead of schedule, and it’s all thanks to her incredible responsibility and dedication. We are beyond proud of the commitment she showed every step of the way!

Fun fact: Morgan seems to have a thing for celebrating big moments with us 🎈 She started her braces journey during our open house (yes, those balloons!) and just happened to finish during our 2-year anniversary celebration—balloons again! We love that her smile story is tied to such joyful milestones in our office.

While we are so excited to see her confidently show off her beautiful new smile, we can’t help but feel a little sad—we’re going to miss seeing her around here!

Morgan, you’ll always be part of our Blue Lake family, and we are so proud of you 💙✨
