Dry mouth can have many causes, including certain medications, so persistent symptoms are worth discussing with your dentist rather than simply drinking more water and ignoring them.

🎃🖤 Think back to Halloween when you were a kid… 🖤🎃

Do you remember how BIG it felt? Counting down the days, talking about what you were going to be, finally getting that costume, putting it on and looking in the mirror like you had completely transformed. Then came trick-or-treating — running from house to house, comparing candy with your friends, and coming home with a bag that felt like absolute treasure. 🍬👻

As adults, we realize something we never had to think about as kids: someone had to make that magic happen. ❤️

And sometimes, families are doing everything they can and there simply isn’t extra money for a Halloween costume. Everyone needs a little help sometimes. That shouldn’t mean a child has to miss out on those same memories so many of us still carry from our childhood.

So this September, The Center for Dentistry of Vernon is collecting BRAND-NEW Halloween costumes and accessories for Benny’s Bodega, and we want to make this donation HUGE! 🎃🦇

If you’ve been in for a cleaning, there’s a good chance you’ve already met Peter! As one of our dental hygienists, Peter plays an important role in helping our patients maintain healthy smiles and stay on top of their oral health.

From routine cleanings and periodontal care to patient education, Peter works with each patient to make sure they understand their oral health and feel comfortable throughout their visit. We’re so happy to have him as part of the Center for Dentistry of Vernon team! 💙
