National Dairy Month is celebrated every June. Originally, this month was meant to promote dairy products, but today, the purpose is mainly to remind the public about dairy’s health benefits, which include important nutrients like protein, vitamin D, potassium, and calcium. Dairy also moderates blood pressure and helps prevent osteoporosis. Milk products also help teeth by strengthening enamel, balancing pH levels, and neutralizing harmful cavity-causing bacteria.
