We’re excited to welcome Dr. Phillips the MidAmerica Dental Wellness family!

A recent dental school graduate with a heart for small-town care and a steady, gentle touch, Dr. Phillips brings fresh expertise and a deep respect for the relationships our practice has built over the years.

From first checkups to lifelong dental care, Dr. Phillips is committed to treating every patient like family—with kindness, transparency, and clinical excellence.

Come say hello—we know you’ll feel right at home in his chair.

Dr. Will Phillips is from Belleville and has lived in the metro east area for his entire life. He attended SIUE for his undergraduate studies where he completed the BS/DMD program to earn his bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences in 3 years. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from SIU School of Dental Medicine in 2025.

Dr. Phillips was drawn to dentistry by its ability to provide life changing care to people in the community. He enjoys helping to give people new smiles and ensuring patients have comfortable experiences in the office.

Dr. Phillips currently lives in Maryville with his girlfriend, Callie, and his newly adopted dog, Ginger. They enjoy spending time outside on walks, playing pickleball, and exploring the country’s national parks.

9 months of clear aligner braces to even out the smile, and a beautiful porcelain crown to restore a lower front tooth that was injured years ago. Gorgeous results for a wife and momma of two who deserves the best!

Happy Dental Hygienist Week to the best trio around! Not only are they beautiful, driven, and intelligent, they work extremely hard as healthcare providers to ensure their patients are treated with the absolute highest quality of care.

If you have teeth you are proud of, there’s a good chance that is thanks to a dental hygienist, as they work hand-in-hand with dentists to treat and prevent periodontitis (aka gum disease), so the foundation of the mouth (aka bone and gums) remain strong. If you have teeth you wish you could be proud of, come visit us and let’s work together to restore your smile. These women will walk with you on that journey.

Dr. Tibbs-Hnizdo, Dr. Middleton, and Dr. Arnold all serve the greater Central Illinois community and are active in the Illinois Dental Society. If you tried to call yesterday afternoon and we didn’t answer, it’s because we closed early for a staff outing to the Blues game!!! To witness the 11th win in a row for our boys in blue in overtime was amazing! We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. 🙃 It was an intense game, but the Blues could rest easy knowing there were multiple dental professionals in the stand! 🦷🏒🥅
