Earlier this month, Dr. Barton traveled to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to provide dentistry to the underserved through the Dominican Dental Mission Project. The hours were long and the dentistry was challenging, but the service, kindness, and gratitude displayed throughout the trip were truly inspiring.

She especially enjoyed teaching dental students, practicing Spanish with children, and even embracing the evening cold showers. We are so proud of Dr. Barton’s servant heart and her willingness to use her gifts to care for others. Her dedication to serving those in need is a beautiful reminder of the impact compassion and dentistry can have beyond our own community. 🩵
