Today, Dr. Perkins answers the question, “How is PRF made?”
It’s a simple procedure that takes place during your appointment and will lead to better outcomes to you post dental surgery:
1️⃣ We do a quick blood draw for a small amount of blood
2️⃣ The vial of your blood goes into the centrifuge
3️⃣ The centrifuge spins the vial around at a low speed, separating your blood into a few sections
4️⃣ We take the PRF section from the vial and can use it in a variety of ways, depending on your procedure!
5️⃣ You heal more predictably, smoothly, and with less inflammation!
