Patients and Family of John O’Cull Dentistry,
As many of you know, I have been in the process of looking for a buyer for my practice. I have met with multiple candidates and I am pleased to announce that I have found someone to take over my practice. I will continue to treat patients as we work together to continue to serve the community of Lewis County and surrounding areas. The staff will also be staying - to help me and the new owner continue the excellent level of care that we have provided over the 40+ years. The new owner of the practice is Dr. David Whitlock. He will introduce himself in a short bio so that you can get to know him as well.
“My name is Dr. David Whitlock. I have been in a private dental practice for 15 years. I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2007. I have practiced in Phoenix, Dallas/Oklahoma City, Fort Collins, CO and briefly, Raleigh, NC - before settling in Ashland, KY. After having practiced in heavily populated areas for most of my career, my wife and I decided we wanted a change of pace. We have five children; ranging in ages from 19-9, three daughters and two sons.”
We are so grateful to be able to continue practicing in the City of Vanceburg. We consider many of our patients to be our friends. We hope you will continue to trust us with your dental care as we transition to a new owner.

*Dr. O’Cull is not retiring at this time, he’s still working at the same office, with same staff. Now Dr. O’Cull is an employee under Dr Whitlock; he is still providing services for each patient.
