Tension headaches may be a sign to functional instability due to an imbalance of your teeth.

Most dentists recommend to wear a night guard. They don’t know what they don’t know.

If the bite is unstable, your muscles are working overtime to compensate and that tension doesn’t go away. And most people clench their teeth during the day while they are concentrating.

This is where a B-splint comes in (pictured above).
It’s not passive. It’s designed to help your muscles relax. When muscles relax, tension headaches disappear.

From there, we can actually address the root cause, the unstable bite.
