When do I need to have my wisdom teeth removed?

The earlier the better when it comes to wisdom teeth removal. Getting your wisdom teeth removed while they are softer and not fully formed makes for a much easier surgery and recovery. Who wouldn't want that?

85% of people have their wisdom teeth removed during their lifetime, most before the age of 25. It is almost inevitable that they will need to be removed.

You can have them removed once they are close enough to the surface, usually around the age of 14-16!

Impacted wisdom teeth: molars at the very back of our mouths that don't have enough room to come in. They may cause pain, swelling, and infection. They often need to be removed in a standard procedure called extraction. Under general anesthesia this can be a no stress surgery!
