Dental Tip of the Month:
Are you brushing your teeth correctly? Most people know that for the best oral health, brushing twice daily for at least two minutes is important; however, many people forget the other parts of the mouth such as the tongue and gums, which need care too. Dr. Ron and Dr. Pat recommend using a timer to ensure you are brushing for the full two minutes and remember the other parts of the mouth. If you are having sensitivity or pain when brushing, or experiencing puffy or sore gums after flossing, you could be at risk for dental issues such as cavities or gum disease. Call University Dental Associates to get examined as soon as possible for the best chance of keeping your tooth, as decay worsens over time without treatment. Dr. Ron and Dr. Pat are experts at restorative dentistry, and will use that expertise to get you out of pain and back to a healthy smile.
